I. Introduction

RFDB is a mobile game to play with friends and generate fun discussions in groups. RFDB provides the user with a prompt and then the user gets to decide if that is a “Red Flag” or “Deal Breaker” by selecting either of the 2 buttons. Users can also share a “RFDB” to their Instagram Story. They can also submit their own “RFDB” and, if accepted, will be a featured RFDB in the game. Your privacy is important to RFDB, so we’ve developed a comprehensive privacy policy (“policy”). By accessing or using this mobile application, you fully agree to this policy. .

II. Information We Collect and Use

We collect certain information from you so that we can provide you with all of RFDB’s services.

When you register for an account, we collect your full name, phone number, and birthday. We also upload your entire personal contact list onto our servers in order to determine whether you or a contact have an existing account with Socialchair. We then store your personal contact list on our server in order to notify you when people from your contact list join Socialchair. We also require that you upload a profile picture, and will ask for permission to send you notifications. In addition, we will have access to your location, but only while you use the app.

We use your personal information to help us create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our services.

Lastly, we may use your personal information for internal purposes, such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve RFDB’s services.

We collect which button you push for each RFDB. If you submit your own RFDB, we collect your RFDB and your Instagram handle, if you choose to include it.

Remember that if you submit a RFDB and it is accepted, it will be seen by all users of the app. Also if you submit a RFDB you are confirming:

  1. It’s something you made up and didn't copy from a written source
  2. You don’t know of anyone who owns any rights to it
  3. You hereby assign the rights to it to Socialchair Co. LLC (“RFDB”) so we can use it for any purpose without any monetary compensation due

III. Information That We Share

We may strategically contract with other parties to provide services to RFDB, such as server maintenance or application development. If we share your information with these third parties, we will require them to keep your information confidential and to comply with this policy.

We may become involved in a merger, acquisition, sale, or other transfer of assets or ownership in the future. If so, the information you provide to us will likely be among the assets transferred in the transaction.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information if required to do so by a subpoena or general law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law or with legal process or government request served on us; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of a user of the mobile app, or the public.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information that we collect and transmit.

Using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), we encrypt all data transmitted between your device and our secure servers, meaning your information is safe at all times. Additionally, your Socialchair account and its personal information are protected by a passcode for your privacy and security. You may help protect against unauthorized access to your account and personal information by protecting your passcode and device appropriately.

V. Minors Under the Age of 13

We do not allow children under the age of 13 (“minors”) to use RFDB; we do not knowingly collect information from minors. Further, we require users to provide us with their date of birth in hopes of effectively preventing minors from registering. If you know that a minor is using RFDB, please contact us at hello@socialchair.co. We will promptly delete minors’ personal information.

VI. Modifications to this Privacy Policy

We may occasionally make changes to this policy and the ways that we collect and use your personal information. If we do, we will notify you before the new policy goes into effect by posting a notice on Socialchair. Please read and make sure you understand and agree with the new policy before its effective date. Continuing to use Socialchair after the effective date means that you agree that we may collect and use your personal information under the new policy.
